Dorothy H. Dorr
Olean, NY-- Dorothy H. Dorr of E. Henley St. died Tuesday (April 29, 2003) in the Olean General Hospital after a long illness.
Born April 30, 1926 in Olean, NY she was the daughter of Raymond and Grace Wilbur Dorr.
Miss Dorr was a longtime resident of Allegany and had resided in Olean for the past twenty years. She was a homemaker and was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Allegany.
Surviving are a sister Florence Dorr of Olean, 1 niece and 1 nephew.
She was predeceased by a sister Verna Hensel in 1989.
Friends will be received today from 6 until 8pm in the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean. A visitation will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church on Friday (May 1, 2003) from noon until 1pm at which time funeral services will be held. Rev. Gerard leFeber, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Allegany Cemetery.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
