ELEANOR G. MASTEN
OLEAN - Eleanor G. Masten of East Highland Avenue died Tuesday June 4, 2002 at the Olean General Hospital after a sudden illness. Born in Newark, NY on May 20, 1931 she was the daughter of Erabella Knox. On October 11, 1974 she married Richard L. Masten who predeceased her November 24, 2000. Mrs. Masten had been an Olean resident for most of her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Olean and attended the Linwood Center. She is survived by one son, Robert L. Guenther of Olean and one grandson. Friends will be received on Thursday June 6, 2002 at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Road, Olean from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at which time funeral services will be conducted. Rev. Alexandra Freer, pastor of the First Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
