Theodore R. Baire “Gone To Rest”
Duke Center, PA—Theodore R. Baire died Sunday (July 6, 2008) in Lakeview Senior Care and Living Center in Smethport, PA after a long illness.
Born November 18, 1953 in Olean, NY he was the son of Richard L. and Margaret L. Ducey Baire.
Mr. Baire attended Olean High School and was also a veteran of the US Navy. He had been last employed by Advanced Monolythic Ceramics. He enjoyed home remodeling and collecting stamps. He had a passion for building and showing custom model cars for which he received numerous trophies and awards.
Surviving in addition to his parents of Duke Center, PA are his devoted companion Barb Donahue of Olean; 1 son Theodore Baire of OLEAN; 2 daughters Crystal (Bill) Geise of Olean and Angelina (Kevin) Faucett of Bath; 7 grandchildren; 2 brothers Michael (Sandy) Baire of Port Kent and John (Marcia) Baire of Olean; 1 sister Patricia (Rick) Price of Duke Center, PA and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (July 9, 2008) at 11:00am in the funeral home. Fr. Joseph Akiki, pastor of St. Joseph’s Maronite Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Veterans Field of Honor in Mt. View Cemetery, Olean.
