Obituary of John C. Grandusky

John C. Grandusky Salamanca, NY—John C. Grandusky, recently of The Waters of Salamanca and formerly of N. 7th St. in Allegany died Monday (March 19, 2007) in the Olean General Hospital. Born June 22, 1939 in Olean, NY he was the son of James and M. Kathryn Cleaver Grandusky. Mr. Grandusky was a 1958 graduate of Allegany Central School and had served with the US Army from 1958 until 1962. He had been employed in the television repair business for many years and was most recently employed in the television repair business out of his home in Allegany. Surviving are 15 brothers and sisters James Grandusky of Allegany, Gary (Adela) Grandusky of Miami, FL, Edward (Denise) Grandusky of Almond, Stephen (Kathleen) Grandusky of Allegany, Michael (Michelle) Grandusky of W. Orange, NJ, David (Addie) Grandusky of Las Vegas, NV, Kay (Wayne) Ramage of Denver, CO, Karen (Tom) Carney of Lakewood, NJ, Linda (Charles) Oprian of Macomb, IL, Mary (Steve) Keys of Daytona Beach, FL, Jane (Charles) Woodrum of Freemont, CA, Eleana Grandusky of Sarasota, FL, Theresa (Bruce) Noto of Harleysville, PA, Christine (Dale) Amore of Aurora, UT and Tamara Grandusky of San Francisco, CA and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a sister Deborah Grandusky and 1 brother Robert Grandusky. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass for John on Monday (July 2, 2007) at 10:00am in St. Bonaventure Church. Rev. Richard Husted, OFM, pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Memorial arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olean.
