Nora M. Wagner Olean, NY-- Nora M. Wagner, 78, of 209 S. Clinton St., a former South Buffalo resident, died Sunday (April 16, 2006) in St. Joseph Manor, Olean following a long illness. Born March 22, 1928 in Buffalo, NY she was the daughter of Henry and Ethel Kelly Hug. Mrs. Wagner had been employed for the Standard Mirror Co. of Buffalo, retiring in 1978. She was a member of St. John’s Church in Olean, the Buffalo Bills Booster Club and the Buffalo Bills Backers Club. Surviving are eight sons Charles (Karen) Wagner of Oklahoma, Gary Wagner of Little Genesee, Robert (Elizabeth) Wagner of Orchard Park, William (Mary) Wagner of Buffalo, Michael (Lynda) Wagner of West Seneca, Eric (Penny) Wagner of Allegany, Charles (Lisa) Wagner of Hinsdale and John (Lisa) Wagner of Allegany; four daughters Patricia (Dennis) Reese of Eldred, Pa. Deborah (Mark) Miller of Buffalo, Kelly (David) Hettrick of Olean, with whom Mrs. Wagner Resided, and Dawn Morrow of Buffalo; 48 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren; a special aunt, Josephine Baker of Franklin, Pa.; a brother-in-law, Gilbert (Gayle) Wagner of Brentwood, Calif.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by three sons, Steven, Glenn and Dennis; and a sister Henrietta Capparra. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends and caregivers, including her doctor. Friends may call at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean today from 2-4 & 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday (April 19, 2006) beginning with a prayer service at 10:30am in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am in St. John’s Church. Monsignor William Wagner, pastor, will be celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany.
