IRMA C. WILBER
ALLEGANY – Irma C. Wilber of South Cooper Hill Rd. died Tuesday March 1, 2005 at the Cuba Hospital. Irma was born in Wheeling, WV on December 15, 1929. She married Walter K. Wilber who predeceased her November 27, 1978. She enjoyed dancing and singing.
She is survived by four daughters Ella Mae Gomez of Allegany, Nina (Glenn) Roberts of Wellsville, Daisey Brockel of Olean and Edith Weatherly of Allegany; a son Calvin Wilber of Franklinville; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother Willie and sisters Tuck and Effie. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Friends will be received on Thursday March 3, 2005 at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Rd., Olean from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM at which time funeral and committal services will be conducted. Rev. John Bartz, pastor of Christ United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Five Mile Cemetery, Allegany. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
