ROSE B. ROSENBLOOM Orinda, CA - Rose B. Rosenbloom of Orinda died September 3, 2002. Born in New Haven, CT on June 20, 1907. She had lived in Olean for over 50 years prior to moving to Walnut Creek, California nearly five years ago. A member of Congregation B'Nai Emunah in San Francisco, CA where she was also a member of the Congregation's Sisterhood, B'Nai Israel Congregation in Olean and the Walnut Creek Senior Center. Mrs. Rosenbloom was an avid reader, bridge player and followed college and professional football and basketball. She is survived by a daughter, Cantor Linda R. Semi of Walnut Creek, CA; sons Carl (Nicole) Rosenbloom of Albany, NY and Oscar A. (Margaret) Rosenbloom of Palo Alto, CA; Six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Irving Rosenbloom in 1986. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday September 5, 2002 at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Road, Olean at 11:00 AM. Rabbi Charles Shalman will officiate. Burial will follow at B'Nai Israel Cemetery, Olean.
