Obituary of Mark A. Hall

Mark Andrew Hall “Loving husband, father, son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend” Allegany, NY Mark Andrew Hall, of Allegany, passed away Friday (August 23, 2024) at his home after a long fight with cancer. Born on Monday June 24, 1963 in Erie, PA, he was the son of Frank and Patricia Kelly Hall. On June 18, 1983 Mark married his love, Marjorie Kay Dearbeck. Together they welcomed 3 children to their family, Kari Louise Hall, Matthew David Hall, and Jessica Marie Hall. Mark loved his children and was very proud of them. Mark worked at Siemens Energy (formerly Dresser Rand) for 34 years as a drafter/designer. He loved his job and was good at it. He made many good friends over the years. He was also a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He had a love for Jehovah his God and firmly believed in the Resurrection Hope. If you saw Mark around town you would have recognized him by his hat with the arctic fox tail! He was even called ‘Uncle Hat” by his great niece Olivia. Mark loved building Legos and collecting swords and movies. In addition to his wife and children, he leaves behind 3 sisters to whom he was their “older brother”, Kelly Hennen, Susan (Dick) Pierce, and Becky (Kevin) Pritchard, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends who are going to miss him dearly. There will be a memorial talk at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at a later date. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
