Obituary of Darlene M. Goodwill Voelker-Parsons

All are welcome to attend and please bring a dish to pass for everyone to enjoy.*** Darlene M. Goodwill Voelker-Parsons Black Creek, NY Darlene M. Goodwill Voelker-Parsons, 71, a longtime resident of North Carolina, passed away Sunday March 24, 2024 at the home of her sister Jane on Spring Valley Rd. Born April 15, 1952 in Salamanca, she was the daughter of Phillip T. Goodwill and Irene J. Hinman Goodwill Pettengill. She was first married to Paul A. Voelker who predeceased her. She later married Michael Parsons who also predeceased her. Darlene is survived by 2 daughters, 4 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren, all of North Carolina; and 3 siblings, all of New York State. She was predeceased by her parents, and a brother Phillip Goodwill, Jr. A celebration of life service is being planned for the near future and will be announced. Burial will be next to her husband Michael in Alamance Memorial Park in Burlington, NC. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olean.
