Obituary of Albert McGavisk

Olean, NY - Albert H. McGavisk, 71, of the Moss Apartments in Olean, passed away Tuesday (February 27, 2024) at the Roswell Cancer Institute in Buffalo. Born July 22, 1952, in Knapps Creek, he was the son of Clarence and Viola Wilcox McGavisk. Albert was employed at Subcon Industries until his retirement. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He is survived by his 2 brothers Paul (Patty) McGavisk and Rex McGavisk; 4 sisters Betty Fisk, Rita Austin, Sara McGavisk, and Helen Rogers; a special long-time friend Lori Dowell, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; 4 brothers Bernard McGavisk, Robert McGavisk, Ronnie McGavisk, and Herbert No services are being scheduled. Albert will be buried in Sartwell Cemetery in Port Allegany, PA. Arrangements under the direction of the Casey, Halwig, and Hartle Funeral Home, Olean.
