Corfu, NY Julie L. Reynolds Majka, 45, passed away Wednesday (December 20, 2023) at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital in Amherst after a recent illness.
Born May 11, 1978 in Olean, she was the daughter of Robert and Kay Shabala Reynolds. On September 24, 2005 in Olean, she married Dr. Kevin Majka who survives.
Julie was a 1996 graduate of Olean High School. While living in Olean she worked for Petruzzi Insurance Co. and was currently working for Niagara Specialty Metals in Akron prior to her illness.
She leaves behind her husband Kevin; her parents of Allegany; 3 brothers Dr. Matthew (Sarah) Reynolds of Lawrence, KS, Mark (RayNitra) of Ann Arbor, MI, and Mike (Mike) Young of Hamburg; her mother-in-law Carol Majka of Lancaster; a sister-in-law Amy (Peter) Olsen of East Amherst; a brother-in-law Jeff (Danielle) Majka of Getzville; 5 nieces and 1 nephew.
The family welcomes friends to a visitation from 1-3pm on Tuesday (December 26, 2023) at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Rd., Olean. A memorial service will begin at 3pm in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
