Obituary of Mary C. Faulkner

Mary C. Faulkner Allegany, NY Mary C. Faulkner, 91, of the Five Mile Rd., passed away Friday (July 28, 2023) at the Olean General Hospital after a short illness. Born December 19, 1931 in Olean, she was the daughter of Walter and Frances Mack Lampack. On August 13, 1955 in Olean, she married Raymond C. Faulkner who predeceased her April 3, 1997. Mary was a graduate of Olean High School. She enjoyed her years of raising a family before beginning work for over 20 years for the former Allegany Underwriters, Inc., retiring as office manager. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church and the Allegany American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed traveling with her husband for several years, and more recently loved her trips to the casino. She leaves behind 4 children Brian (Wanda) Faulkner of Allegany, Mark (Ann) Faulkner of Allegany, Bruce (Tina) Faulkner of Jamestown, and Nancy (Ken) Hopkins of Hickory, NC; 8 grandchildren, Jamie Faulkner (Andrew) Papasergi, Steven Faulkner, Tim (Stevy) Faulkner, Evelyn (Ed) Bysiek, Nick (Tiffany) Hopkins, Lindsey Palafox, Ben Hopkins, and Ryan (Sara) Griffin; 10 great grandchildren; 1 brother Paul Lampack of Portville, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a grandson Kyle Faulkner; a sister Helen Lampack, and a brother Robert Lampack. The family will be present to receive friends on Monday from 4-7pm at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Rd., Olean. A funeral service will be held Tuesday (August 1, 2023) at 10am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
