Obituary of Nolan J. Riehle

Olean, NY Nolan J Riehle, 40, of 733 Garden Ave., passed away unexpectedly on Monday (April 10, 2023) at his home. Born March 18, 1983 in Olean, he was the son of Gary S. and Teresa L. Creed Riehle. Nolan graduated from Olean High School. He worked various construction jobs and most recently was employed by Lake Erie Tobacco Co. in Kill Buck. He enjoyed fishing any time he was able, but most enjoyed just spending time with his two children. He is survived by his father of Olean; his maternal grandmother JoAnn Lewis of Rochester; 2 children, Mason Riehle and Amya Riehle, both of Olean; 2 brothers Nicholas (Heather) Riehle and Nathan (Jennifer) Riehle, both of Olean, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother Teresa on February 14, 2022. The family welcomes friends to a visitation on Saturday (April 15, 2023) from 2:30pm to 3:30pm at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Rd., Olean. A celebration of life service will follow at 3:30pm in the funeral home. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Council on Addiction Recovery Services, Inc.
