Obituary of Tracy L. Threadgill

Tracy L. “Trixie” Threadgill Allegany, NY Tracy L. “Trixie” Threadgill, 61, of 18 N. 2nd St., passed away Sunday (February 19, 2023) at her home, after a lengthy battle with breast cancer. Born November 1, 1961 in Amarillo, TX, she was the daughter of Thomas C. and Barbara Reddy Threadgill. Tracy’s father was a career military officer and was stationed in several states in which she and her siblings were raised, including Texas, Colorado, Georgia, and Florida. They also lived for a time in Taiwan, and Libya. She completed her schooling at Allegany Central School, graduating in 1980. She worked for 14 years for Olean General Hospital, primarily as a secretary in the radiology department. Tracy enjoyed camping, hiking, and reading. She was a big fan of the Buffalo Bills and the Buffalo Sabres. She was also an auxiliary member of the Allegany American Legion. She is survived by her daughter Kristina (Jesse Crum) Threadgill of Port Allegany, PA; 2 grandchildren Paige Crum and Ian Crum; her longtime companion Dave Cluckey; 3 siblings Thomas E. (Rebecca) Threadgill of Allegany, Cynthia J. Threadgill of Allegany, and Dale C. (Rebecca) Threadgill of Shinglehouse, PA, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother in 2018, and her father in 2021. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1-3 & 6-8pm at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Rd., Olean. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday (February 24, 2023) at 10am in St. Bonaventure Church. Rev. Michael Reyes, OFM, pastor, will be the celebrant.
