Oh my. I can't begin to express my sorrow knowing Mary Jill has passed away. I'm not sure exactly how old I was when I met Mary Jill (and Jim) because I don't remember how old I was when my Mom and Dad (Marion & Al Russell) introduced me to them. What I do remember, and treasure, was walking down the aisle as their FLOWER GIRL at their wedding. Mary Jill, and Jim (I can never say one name without saying the other), gave me my first charm bracelet which I still have and my Mom saved away my violet flower girl dress which I still have packed away. I have so many memories of that time and remember her parents being so much fun to be around. Those memories I will forever cherish.
My sincerest condolences to Mary Jill's family and friends. She was such a beautiful lady to a child's mind and I will never ever forget her.
Thank you Mary Jill for allowing me to be a part of your wedding and I'm sorry I ran half-way down the aisle after, I was.... rambunctious.
