Obituary of Kathleen C. Walton

Kathleen C. Walton Olean, NY Kathleen C. Walton, 74, of 209 West Green St., passed away peacefully Monday (April 11, 2022) at the Olean General Hospital after a long illness, surrounded by her loving family. Born November 9, 1947 in Olean, she was the daughter of Lucas and Lena Mae Robbins Kolasinski. On February 1, 1997 she married Gary W. Walton, Sr., who survives. Kathleen was raised in Allegany and attended Allegany Schools. She had been employed by the former AVX Ceramics for several years and later worked as an aide, taking care of people in their homes. She enjoyed being a homemaker and was a dependable wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She loved to cook, and especially liked to shop in the department stores and end the day with a good restaurant meal. She was also fond of her many pets over the years, cherished the company of her daughter’s dogs Coco and Chico, and her son’s dog Bandit, and she supported the local SPCA. She is survived by her loving husband Gary; 1 son John M. Hart, Jr. of Pensacola, FL and his 2 children Nahla Hart and Isiah Hart; 1 daughter Kimberly Hart of Olean and her father and stepmother John and Robin Hart of Lewis Run, PA; 1 stepson Gary (Candace) Walton, Jr. of Salamanca and their 3 children Peyton Hunter, Colton Walton and Payton Bigler; 2 sisters Judy (Don) Graves of Ischua and Sandra Freyer of Mims, FL; a sister-in-law Penny (Don) Gordon of Olean and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 1 brother James Kolasinski and 1 sister Joanne Colf. At Kathleen’s request, there will be no funeral or burial service. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Cattaraugus County SPCA, 1644 Olean-Hinsdale Rd., Olean, NY 14760. Arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olean.
