My belated sincere condolences to David's family and friends. David and I were in Boy Scouts and Explorers together for years. His father, Arland, was our Explorer Advisor and we often met at their home for meetings as we worked on projects in their garage. David and I were among the initial group of Scouts tapped for the Order of the Arrow in the former Seneca Council, and David and I were two of the three OA members to represent our OA Lodge at the first regional OA conclave in Camp Massawepie at Tupper Lake. Those years were very important in our development and growth. I have often thought of David and the experiences we shared in our years together in Scouts. I am saddened to read of his passing and his struggle with cancer. May he rest in peace.
