Obituary of Robert E. Bish, Jr.

Olean, NY Robert E. Bish, Jr., 71, of 2043 Union Valley Road, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday (April 7, 2021) at Buffalo General Medical Center. Born August 25, 1948 in Olean he was the son of Robert E. and Bertha L. "Sis" Potter Bish, Sr. On November 8, 1969 in Olean, he married Linda L. Nolder who predeceased him on April 7, 2020. Robert was a graduate of Hinsdale Central School. He was a Truck Driver for R.S Maher until his retirement and enjoyed doing roofing as a side job. In his free time, he enjoyed trains, country music, watching the Buffalo Bills and most importantly, spending time with his family. He will be sorely missed by his canine companion, Chase. Surviving are a daughter Sherry Jones of Buffalo; 2 granddaughters Tiffany Miller and Brittany Miller both of Greenwich, Ohio.; 3 Sibling Gloria (Anthony) Morris of Russellville, KY, Connie S. (Wesley) Knight of Bolivar and Jeffrey L. (Kelly) Bish, Sr. of Coudersport, PA.; A sister -in -law Sandy Bish of Hendersonville, TN ; a brother in law Robert ( Pam) Nolder of Olean and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his brothers David Bish and Stephen Bish. A memorial gathering is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
