Obituary of Gail M. Crisafulli

Allegany, NY Gail M. Crisafulli, of 112 Clarence St., passed away on Saturday March 27, 2021 at her home.
Born April 1, 1940 in Olean, she was the daughter of Rosamond O. Cowen and James J. Boser, Sr.
Gail grew up in Allegany and graduated from Allegany Central School where she met the love of her life, Michael A. Crisafulli, Sr., who survives. They married on August 29, 1959 at St. Bonaventure Church in Allegany.
She attended Continental Beauty School in Buffalo and worked as a beautician along with her best friend and sister-in-law, Sarah Crisafulli, before becoming a full-time mother of four children.
She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church and loved to sing in the choir. She was also a member of the Allegany Lady Knights.
Gail loved spending time with her family, traveling with her sisters and enjoyed playing cards with her friends.
In addition to her husband, she leaves behind 4 children: Michael Crisafulli, Jr. of Olean, Michele Keller of Arlington, TX, Maria (Thomas) Hansen of Arlington, TX, and Mark Crisafulli of Bridgeton, NJ; 6 grandchildren Royce, Michael, Regina, Francesca, Nicholas, and Steven; 4 great grandchildren Tommy, Joey, Luke, and Mark; 1 brother James (Diane) Boser of Allegany; 2 sisters Mary (Merle) Kyser of Sahuarita, AZ., and Kathy (Jack) Porcello of Loudon, TN.; 1 brother-in-law Dana Witherell of Portville and many beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Rosalie "Bunni" Witherell and Joan Kelly; her brother-in-law, Bill Kelly; and son-in-law, Gregory Keller.
Visitation for friends and family will be held on Tuesday (March 30, 2021) from 4 to 7 p.m. at St. Bonaventure Church on Main St. in Allegany. A funeral mass is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday (March 31, 2021) at St. Bonaventure Church, with burial to follow immediately after at the St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
