Obituary of James R. Spiess

James R. Spiess Limestone, NY James R. Spiess, 60, of 1550 Route 219, passed away unexpectedly Monday (March 15, 2021) at his home. James was born June 3, 1960 in Borger, TX and was the son of Roger W. and BobbieJo Gilbert Spiess. He was married to the former Leona Bennett who survives. He worked in the plastics industry in various towns, including the State of Massachusetts. He retired early due to disability. He was a private man who enjoyed his family and close friends and also loved to fish. He leaves behind his loving wife Leona; 1 son Justin (Mia Grimes) Spiess of Limestone; 2 daughters Cora Bennett and Jennifer Bennett, both of Olean; 2 grandchildren; 1 brother Bob (Chris) Spiess of Massachusetts; 2 nieces and 2 nephews. No services are being planned at this time. His wish was to have a simple exit from this world. He will be remembered for his kind devotion to his family and for his love for his friends.
