Dear Grace, Paul, and Chris, I was so sorry and saddened to hear of Frank's passing. It has been many years since I've seen any of you, or Frank, but I thought about all of you whenever I reminisced about my teaching career. Frank was a huge part of that--first as a colleague, then as my principal. I can only hope that my legacy is as full of positive interactions with students as Frank's was. While he and I butted heads sometimes during his time as principal, he was always there to make the path easier any time a teacher had a family problem. Family always came first for Frank. There was a period of about a year when I had to travel to Columbus repeatedly after my mother had a stroke. Frank knew this and was beside himself one Friday, begging me not to travel in the snow storm that was predicted. I was, however, determined. So, I started out, got about ten miles, turned around and came home. I made a point to call Frank and tell him I had changed my mind because I knew he truly cared. When I retired seven years ago, I gave a little speech at my retirement party in which I thanked each of my principals for something. I thanked Frank for teaching me that every kid was worthwhile and worth saving--not a small lesson. I hope all of you are well, and I will keep you in my thoughts as you adjust to a new normal. The entire Ambroselli family sends their condolences. When my dad was very sick, Mr. P. took the time to write a hand written note to my dad. It meant a great deal to my dad, and all of us. This shows his kindness and sincerity for people who he knew. He made a difference in this world. God bless your entire family.
