Dorothy J. "Dottie" Kamler Facci
Allegany, NY Dorothy J. "Dottie" Kamler Facci, 71, passed away Sunday (December 16, 2018) at the Olean General Hospital.
Born November 12, 1947 in Johnstown, PA she was the daughter of John W. and Margaret I. Livingston Kamler, Jr.
Dottie was a graduate of Johnstown High School and of the Cambria Rowe Business College in Johnstown. She worked for the Johnstown Housing Authority and later for the former Bestform, Inc. After moving to Allegany she began employment as a cashier at Walmart Super Center in Olean.
She was a member of Creekside Chapel in Allegany. She put her family first and foremost and always enjoyed the company of family and friends. She enjoyed traveling, was an avid reader and a loyal Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Surviving are 2 daughters Karla (Bradley) Spears of Allegany, and Sandy (Michael) Wilson of Virginia Beach, VA; 5 grandchildren Adam (Kara) Spears, Samantha Soupene, Christopher Spears, Matthew Wilson and Ryan Wilson; 3 great grandchildren Norah, Naudia and Lennon; 1 sister Pat (Jim) Custer of Johnstown, PA; 3 brothers James (Nancy) Kamler, Ronnie Kamler and David (Lisa) Kamler, all of Johnstown, PA and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, a sister Jackie Rhoads, a nephew Paul Anthony Rhoads, a niece Kayla Kamler and a sister-in-law Dorothy Kamler.
Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life service to be held Wednesday (December 19, 2018) at 1:00pm at Creekside Chapel, 2523 Five Mile Rd, Allegany. Rev. Adam Stein, pastor, will officiate.
