John M. Goodwill
Salamanca, NY John M. Goodwill, 36, of Salamanca, died Wednesday (November 28, 2018) at his home.
Born May 14, 1982 in Buffalo he was the son of Timothy Goodwill and Carrie McDonald Goodwill.
John had been employed at Lake Erie Tobacco Co. in Kill Buck and for the former Smiley's Restaurant in Olean. He was also a self-employed handyman.
He enjoyed listening to music and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. He liked to play billiards and darts and was constantly on his cell phone.
Surviving are his mother Carrie Goodwill of Salamanca, his father Timothy (Theresa Abdo) Goodwill of Duke Center, PA; 2 daughters Sierra Goodwill of St. Mary's, PA and Kaylyn Goodwill of GA; 3 sons Cody Goodwill and Nicholas Goodwill, both of St. Mary's, PA and Xavier Ross of Franklinville; 6 brothers Timothy Goodwill, Jr. of TX, James (Stephanie) Goodwill of Duke Center, PA, Kyle (Paige) Goodwill of Rixford, PA, Phillip Goodwill, Andrew Brooks and Tommy Goodwill; 3 sisters Nellie Goodwill, Dawn Anthony and Crystal Peters; several nieces, nephews and cousins and his "go-to girl" Samantha Small.
He was predeceased by his stepfather Phillip Goodwill.
Friends will be received on Tuesday (December 4, 2018) from 1-3pm at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean. Services will begin at 3pm in the funeral home.
