Obituary of Ann M. Boser

ANN M. BOSER Ann M. Boser of 4224 Birch Run Road, Allegany, NY died Monday, September 13, 2004, in her home. Born December 12, 1929 she was the daughter of Frank and Sophia Ruby Cheladyn. She attended School 4 and graduated from Olean High School in 1947. After graduating she worked at Olean Tile Plant, and several years later at Acme Electric while raising her family. She spent most of her life on the family farm, and enjoyed her flower gardens, dancing, her senior friends and researching family history. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Lutheran Club, Allegany Area Historical Association, WNY Genealogical Society, Allegany 60 Plus, and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Most of all she loved her family and was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Surviving are six children: Wilma Chesnut, Bonnie (Edward) Harrier, Laurie (Richard) Zimmerman Jr., Leonard Boser, Charles Boser, and Steven Boser all of Allegany, NY; a step daughter Carol (Robert) Knell of Duke Center, PA; a brother Nick (Mary Jane) Cheladyn of Olean, NY; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother Steven Cheladyn, and two sisters, Katherine Flicker and Mary Cheladyn. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Rd., Olean on Wednesday, September 15th from 2-4 and 7-9 and on Thursday September 16th from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9. Funeral services will be Friday, September 17th at 11:00 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church of Allegany with burial to follow in Allegany Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, may be made to Allegany Fire Dept, St. John's Lutheran Church, or the charity of your choice.
