Allegany, NY Robert C. "RJ" Whitton, Jr., 54, of 1826 Avenue A. passed away Thursday (July 12, 2019) at the Olean General Hospital after a sudden illness.
Born July 19,1963 in Olean he was the son of Robert C. and Elizabeth "Betty" L. Suda Whitton.
RJ attended Olean High School and throughout his life had a talent and passion for working on cars. He also had a special place in his heart for animals and looking out for their welfare.
Surviving are a longtime companion Faith Lett and her family of Olean; a sister Julie (Jeff) Rapp of Buffalo; 2 nieces Allison Rapp and Caroline Rapp and a stepmother Linda Whitton of Olean.
He was predeceased by his parents.
A memorial service at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olean will be held at a date and time to be announced for early August.
