Norma Jean Ann Nenno Higley
Allegany, NY Norma Jean Ann Nenno Higley of Allegany slipped peacefully away just after midnight on Saturday (January 27, 2018).
Born September 5, 1934 in Olean she was the daughter of Walter J. and Ruth Atherton Nenno.
Norma was a graduate of Allegany Central School and had resided in Allegany most of her life and for a few years in the Rochester area. She was formerly married to Robert R. Higley, Jr.
Her treasures in life were family, friends, church, and hugs. She was humble, seeing the best in everyone. She endured many trials in life with faith, love and patience.
She is survived by a son Ron (Jamie) Higley of Allegany; a daughter Debra Higley of Olean; 2 grandchildren Brian and Karisa; a sister-in-law Josephine DiLuzio Nenno and family of Riverside, NJ; her in-laws the Thomas Higley family; the Sandra Tucker family; the Edward Higley family and many nieces, nephews, friends and church family.
In addition to her parents and ex-husband she was predeceased by a daughter Robin Rae Higley; infant twin sons Robert and Norman Higley; a brother Clair Nenno; a brother and sister-in-law Paul and Shirley McGraw Nenno and an infant sister Carmelita Nenno.
Visitation will be held from 4-6pm on Tuesday (January 30, 2018) at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean. Services will follow visitation at 6pm in the funeral home with Ray McKinney to officiate.
