Seth Groden
Allegany, NY Seth Groden, formerly of 10 Upland Terrace, died Sunday (March 5, 2017) at the Wellsville Manor.
Born March 18, 1931 in Brooklyn he was the son of Samuel and Bessie Resnicoff Groden. On June 29, 1969 in Butler, PA he married Carol Cohen who survives.
Mr. Groden was a graduate of Olean High School and also the University of Buffalo. He was a veteran of the US Army and was stationed in Europe during the Korean War.
Surviving besides his wife are a son Samuel Groden of Seattle, WA; a daughter Rachel (Dean) Wolfe of Webster and a grandson Zack Wolfe of Webster.
Friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Wednesday (March 8, 2017) at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Rd., Olean at 11am. Burial will follow in B'Nai Israel Cemetery, Olean.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
