I hadn't seen Shirley in nearly two years since the day I moved out of Underwood. I'm just shocked. She was such a champ at making the best of crummy situations. And keeping a good attitude around less than positive people (moi). May you all understand the gift your mother and family member was not only for yourselves but to people she knew. God bless. I would just like to give my condolences to all family members of Shirley. She was an awesome lady whom I met in 1987. She was my neighbor and as time passed she became a really great friend and then my brother came to live in NY and met her and her family. He then married her daughter and we became like family she treated us this way because she was a very loving and caring lady who would do anything for anyone if she could. My children grew to love her like a grandmother they lovingly called her grandma Shirley and she was like a grandmother to them even tho they were not her grandchildren. I would like to let everyone know that if there is anything I can do at this time I'm here for you all. Please just call or message me. I know we haven't been very close for awhile but I am still here for you.
