Bolivar, NY Timothy F. Hadley, 61, of Bolivar, formerly of Olean, passed away Sunday (March 6, 2016) at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Buffalo after a short illness. Born August 26, 1954 in Olean he was the son of James E. and Katherine Hartwick Hadley. Tim attended Olean High School and then served in the U.S. Army. He had first been employed as a pressman for the Olean Times Herald for 18 years and later worked as a truck driver. Surviving are a daughter Jennifer (Jason Dobson) Hadley of Ceres; 3 sons Joe (Amanda Smith) Hadley of N. Carolina, Michael (Joy) Hadley of Olean and Justin (Tahlia) Hadley of Albany; step children Kim Murphy of Denton, NC, Dan (Tammy) Murphy of Olean; several grandchildren including Aubree who was very special to him; 1 sister Janet (Bruce) Blume of Jamestown; 1 brother Dr. Thomas (Carol) Hadley of Columbus, OH and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by 2 brothers William Hadley and James Hadley. Friends will be received on Wednesday (March 9, 2016) from 11:00am until noon at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean. Funeral services will begin at noon in the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. Online condolences may be expressed at oleanfuneralhome.com.
