Obituary of Carlton J. Richardson

CARLTON J. "JEEP" RICHARDSON ALLEGANY – Carlton J. "Jeep" Richardson of East Main Street died Tuesday November 23, 2004 at the Waters of Salamanca. Born in Olean on April 4, 1936 he was a son of Robert Lyle and Josephine Parmeter Richardson. Mr. Richardson served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was employed at Union Sales and later at St. Bonaventure University retiring in 1995. Jeep was a member of the Portville American Legion and the Olean Elks Lodge. He was an avid stock car and NASCAR enthusiast. He is survived by a brother Jack Richardson of Encinitas, CA; a sister Patricia "Pat" Davis of North Tonawanda and many nices and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters, Margaret "Peg" Richardson, Paula Milks and Mary Frances Nardolillo and a brother Robert "Moe" Richardson. There will be no public visitations. Funeral services will be privately conducted at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Rd., Olean. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany. Memorials may be made to the Allegany Fire Department or to a charity of the donor's choice.
