Obituary of Donald Bozard

Olean, NY-Don R. Bozard of 1951 W. Fall Rd. died Sunday (February 1, 2009) at his residence. Born August 29, 1939 in Allegany, NY he was the son of Howard R. and Myrtle Morgan Bozard. Mr. Bozard had spent many years in the Life Skills Program operated by the ReHabilitation Center. He had attended the Allegany Baptist Church for many years and he was a photography buff as well as having been passionate about fast cars and going to car shows. He was proud of having directed and starred in his own movie "The Adventures of Daring Don". Surviving are several cousins, including Virginia (Bruce) Tiller and Pam (John) Derx, both of Allegany. He was predeceased by a brother. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean today from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday (February 4, 2009) at 1:00pm in the funeral home. Rev. Frank Hayman, pastor of the Allegany Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Five Mile Cemetery, Allegany.
