Obituary of Erica Lamberson

Erica Linn Lamberson Ryan's little sister Allegany, NY Erica Linn Lamberson of 124 N. 2nd St. passed away Monday (February 23, 2015) at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Born March 9, 1999 she was the daughter of Rick and Elaine Bell Lamberson. Erica was a sophomore at Allegany Limestone Central School and had achieved High Academic Honors with Merit as well as Advanced Placement. At school she loved math, art and swimming. At home she loved computers and gaming and tending to houseplants and flowers. She especially loved the company of her dog Zuzu. Erica was light-hearted, fiercely competitive, quick witted, funny, and stubborn. If you were happy, quirky, or both Erica would befriend you. She was a night owl and a social butterfly. She had an iron will and an enormous heart. She was the sweetest of hearts. Surviving besides her parents of Allegany are her brother Ryan Lamberson with whom she was extremely close; her maternal grandmother Linda Zink Bailey of California and maternal grandparents Clyde Tom and Joan Bell of Allegany; aunts and uncles Craig Bell of California, George-Ann Beliles Lamberson and Sally-Jo Beliles Lamberson, both of Allegany, John (Lori) Lamberson of Friendship and Steve Mikolajczyk of Portville; numerous cousins; Bonnie Robinson of Allegany whom she loved like a grandmother , Paula Ayers her special friend, Casey Ensell whom she loved like a brother, and Hannah Grey her best friend. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents Bob and Kate Lamberson; an aunt Bobbie-Kay Lamberson Mikolajczyk and an uncle Joseph Lamberson. Friends will be received for a memorial visitation on Sunday from 1-4 & 7-9pm at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean. A memorial service will be held Monday (March 2, 2015) at noon at the Christ United Methodist Church. Rev. Suzanne Block, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Allegany Cemetery.
