Obituary of Robert Worden

Robert D. "Bob" Worden Olean, NY Robert D. "Bob" Worden of 410 Baldwin Ave. passed away Saturday (February 14, 2015) at The Pines Health and Rehabilitation Center in Olean after a brief stay. Born January 16, 1939 in Olean he was the son of Donald and Clara Baker Worden. He had been employed in the maintenance department at Olean General Hospital prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Wood Carver's Association and was a skilled wood carver who enjoyed making both useful and decorative items for others. He had been an active volunteer with Interfaith Caregivers as well as having been a volunteer driver for Meals on Wheels. Surviving are 2 daughters Beth Worden (Danny) Vuckovich of Ft. McCoy, FL and Amy (Larry) Worden Jodush of Olean; 6 grandchildren; a sister Constance "Connie" Coapman of Brockport, several nieces and nephews and a son-in-law William Johnston of Olean. He was predeceased by a daughter Christine Worden Johnston in 2012. Family and friends may attend a memorial visitation on Friday from 6-8pm at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Rd. Olean. A service will be held Saturday (February 21, 2015) at 10:00am in the funeral home. Dr. Anthony Evans will officiate.
