Obituary of Derek Brantley

Olean- Derek P. Brantley of 114 ½ Fulton Street, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday (December 2, 2014) at the Olean General Hospital. Born November 9, 1988 in Boston, MA, he was the son of Charles Brantley and Linda Dehnkamp Robinson. Derek had worked at Burger King and previously at The Connection. He attended Sacred Temple and was a member of DGK. He enjoyed going to festivals, rollerblading, playing football but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. Surviving besides his mother of Olean and his father of Greenville, MS are three daughters Adrianna Ensell, Jazmyne Isabella Brantley and Tiana May Brantley; two brothers Joseph Smith and Charles Smith of Boston, MA; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and many friends. He was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents. A celebration of Derek's life will be held and announced at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Road, Olean.
