Adeline M. "Lee" Casini
Olean, NY Adeline M. "Lee" Casini of 3163 Cranberry Rd., town of Allegany passed away Tuesday (June 10, 2014) at the Olean General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Born May 13, 1925 in Vandalia she was the daughter of Dominic and Mary Mariotti Butchello. On December 26, 1945 at St. John's Church in Olean she married Joseph B. Casini who predeceased her January 14, 2011.
Mrs. Casini was a graduate of Olean High School and worked her entire career from 1939 to 1991 for L'Alcove Castle, Inc., retiring as Director of Hotel Operations.
She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church and was devoted to her faith, her family and her work. She served as Chairwoman of the Board for the New York State Hospitality and Tourism from November 1990 to October 1991.
Surviving are 2 children Janice (John) Pelligrini of Olean and James A. (Diane) Casini of Frewsburg; 5 grandchildren Kristin (James) Graham, David Gauhs, Melissa (Jeff) Machan, Julia Duffy and Anthony Juliano; 4 great grandchildren Mia, Cooper, Lauren and Hannah; 1 sister Edye Butchello of Olean and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband she was predeceased by a daughter Anne D. Juliano and a brother Guerino "Butch" Butchello in 1976.
Friends are invited to a memorial visitation from 10 to 11am Saturday (June 14, 2014) at St. Bonaventure Church. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11am in the church. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to St. Bonaventure Church. Online condolences may be expressed at oleanfuneralhome.com.
