Obituary of Donald Bouch

Donald E. Bouch Allegany, NY Donald E. Bouch, 63, of 2058 Eldorado Drive passed away Thursday (February 13, 2014) at the Buffalo General Hospital in the loving presence of his family and friends. Born February 23, 1950 in Cuba he was the son of Earl and Vianna Wilkins Bouch. On February 27, 1971 in Olean he married Christine Horning who survives. Mr. Bouch was a 1968 graduate of Portville Central School and graduated from the Rochester Business Institute. He began his career as an auto mechanic in 1972 by establishing Bouch's Automotive at the former Texaco Station on the corner of W. State and 10th Sts. In the mid-1970's he relocated to 13th and W. State St. where he operated his business until his retirement in 2012. He was a car enthusiast his whole life and loved auto racing of any kind, especially NASCAR. In his earlier years after high school he played the organ and sang in two bands, first The Baron's and later The Crystal Grapes. Surviving besides his wife are 3 children Christopher (Sara) Bouch of Allegany and his twins Michelle Bouch of Allegany and Matthew (Anja) Bouch of Chicago and 2 granddaughters Sophia Bouch and Bella Bouch. He will be sadly missed by family and also his many close friends. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Monday from 5-8pm. Funeral services will be held Tuesday (February 18, 2014) at 7:00pm at the funeral home. Rev. Gregory Dobson, pastor of St. Mary of the Angels Church, will officiate.
