Anne D. Juliano
Olean, NY Anne D. Juliano, 58, of 3163 Cranberry Rd., town of Allegany passed away Thursday (January 23, 2014) at her home.
Born October 6, 1955 in Olean she was the daughter of Joseph B. and Adeline M. Butchello Casini.
Anne was a 1973 graduate of Allegany Central School and was a graduate of St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing in Syracuse where she received a master's degree in oncology. She first worked as a nurse manager at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse for 21 years and concurrently taught oncology at Syracuse University for a period of time. She later worked for 15 years as a supervisor for the American Red Cross, the last 10 of which were for the Olean Chapter.
She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church, a parish that she held dear to her heart and to which she wanted to begin serving with other volunteers with its outreach programs. She was also a volunteer for the American Cancer Society for over fifteen years. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family.
Surviving are her mother of Allegany; a son Anthony (Corrine Gillespie) Juliano of Chesapeake, Va; a sister Janice (John) Pelligrini of Olean; a brother James (Diane) Casini of Frewsburg; several nieces and nephews and an aunt Edye Butchello of Olean.
She was predeceased by her father Joseph Casini on January 14, 2011.
Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean today (Friday) from 4-8pm and on Saturday (January 25, 2014) at the St. Bonaventure Church from 10:15 until 11:15am. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:15 am in the church with Fr. James Vacco, OFM, pastor, as the celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Bonaventure Church or to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be expressed at oleanfuneralhome.com.
