Donald E. Brothers
Emporium, PA Donald E. Brothers of the Four Mile Road and a former resident of Olean passed away Friday (December 27, 2013) at his residence.
Mr. Brothers was born November 28, 1943 and was married to Nina Vaughn who predeceased him November 26, 2001. He had been employed by the Motor Coils Co. in Emporium for thirty two years prior to his retirement.
He was talented at auto body work and he enjoyed restoring vehicles. He also was an avid "scratch-off" player.
Surviving are a son James (Debbie) Brisson, Sr. of Olean; five grandchildren James Brisson, Jr., Kasey Brisson-Helms, Brandon Brisson, Lorraine Gould and Dallas Brisson; eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife he was predeceased by two brothers and a sister.
Friends will be received on Monday (December 30, 2013) from 1-2pm at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean where funeral services will begin at 2:00pm. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Olean.
