Obituary of Jessie Gerringer

Bradford, PA- Jessie R. Gerringer, a longtime resident of the Bradford Manor and former resident of Eden Heights, passed away Sunday November 17, 2013 at the Bradford Manor after a lengthy illness. Born January 26, 1920 in Allegany, she was the daughter of Adam and Rose Geiger Gerringer. Miss Gerringer was a graduate of Allegany High School and worked for Daystrom in Trenton, NJ for 36 years, returning back to this area in 1982. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church, the Olean Senior League and Sixty Plus Club. Surviving is one sister Ruth Marie McPhillips of Mapleton, Minn; two nieces Rose(Frank) Giardini of Allegany, Diane Mosher of Little Falls, NY; two nephews Carl Gerringer of Florida, Donald Gerringer of Eden, NY; and several great- nieces, great- nephews and many great great-nieces and great great-nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Robert Gerringer on October 31, 1998. Funeral services will be held on Thursday (November 21, 2013) at 9:30am at the Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Road. Rev. James Vacco, pastor at St. Bonaventure Church will officiate. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Memorials if desired may be made to the SPCA 2944 Olean-Hinsdale Road, Olean, NY 14760 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105
