Martin F. Valentine
Allegany, NY Martin F. Valentine of 2323 Wiltse Cross Roads passed away Saturday (July 13, 2013) at the Olean General Hospital.
Born October 16, 1928 in Brooklyn, he was the son of Charles and Odenia Conbak Valentine.
Mr. Valentine had lived a number of years in the Brooklyn area before moving to Olean in July 1987. He retired from SubCon Industries in Olean and also attended the Linwood Center. He was a quiet man and his hobbies included watching old movies.
He enjoyed the friendship of many staff and clients at the ReHabilitation Center, especially the Wiltse house. His parents predeceased him as well as his only brother Charles Valentine.
Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Tuesday from 3-5pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday (July 17, 2013) at 11:00am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Allegany Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the ReHabilitation Center 1439 Buffalo St. Olean, NY 14760.
