Albert R. Terry
Olean, NY Albert R. Terry of 417 S. Union St. Moss Apartments went home to be with the Lord Tuesday (July 9, 2013) at his residence.
Born January 30, 1968 in Jamestown he was the son of Gregory and Gloria Dalrymple Quist.
Albert attended Celeron Grade School in Jamestown and graduated from Jamestown High School. He had been a resident of Olean and worked at SubCon Industries. He also enjoyed attending the Continuing Day Treatment Program at the ReHabilitation Center.
He had wonderful qualities which included having a Christian temperament, an infectious smile, very polite behavior to all around him and being frugal, neat and orderly. He loved watching movies and professional wrestling on television and he was an avid reader of the TV Guide section of the newspaper. Another favorite activity was eating out at the QQ Buffet. The staff and the residents from Moss Apartments as well as his co-workers will miss him and the genuine concern and helpful attitude he always showed them.
Surviving are his father of Jamestown; two sisters Mamie L. Cook and Delilah A. Terry, both of Jamestown; an uncle Tim Dalrymple of Columbia, MD and a special long time friend Paul Ascoli.
He was preceded in death by his mother and his grandparents Adele and Frank Quist.
Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Friday (July 12, 2013) from 10 until noon at which time funeral services will be held. Rev. Wes Gilbert of Olean will officiate. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
