Frances A. Dombeck
Olean, NY Frances A. Dombeck of 226 E. Oak Street passed away Tuesday (June 11, 2013) at the Olean General Hospital after a recent illness.
Born December 22, 1930 in Olean, NY she was the daughter of Stanislaus and Josephine Orlowski Dombek.
Ms. Dombeck was a graduate of Olean High School and had resided in Olean her entire life. She retired from American Olean Tile Co. where she had worked for forty two years. She was a longtime member of Transfiguration Church and its Rosary Society as well as the Pulaski Club Women's Auxiliary.
Surviving are a daughter Josephine "JoAnn" Dombeck of Olean; a great niece Nicole Dombek of Olean and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by three sisters Gertrude Loskey, Theresa Fidurko and Mary Dombeck; five brothers Joseph Dombek, John Dombek, Edward Dombeck, Leo Dombek and Raymond Dombek and several nephews.
Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean today (Thursday) from 6-9pm. Funeral services will be held Friday (June 14, 2013) at 10:00am in the funeral home. Rev. Edward Sheedy will officiate. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
