Portville, NY Gloria Peterson of 1699 Portville-Obi Road died Wednesday (May 1, 2013) in her home after a long illness.
She is survived by her husband Edwin Peterson, Sr.; seven children Edwin Peterson, Jr., Douglas Peterson, Penny Skiver, Steven Peterson, Michael Peterson, Paula Clark and Tammy Boyd and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
At Mrs. Peterson's request, there will be no visitation. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in the West Genesee Cemetery, town of Little Genesee.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Women and Children's Hospital, 219 Bryant St. Buffalo, NY 14222 or to the Portville Fire Department, PO Box 781 Portville, NY 14770. Arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olean. Online condolences may be expressed at oleanfuneralhome.com.
