Anthony Pezzullo, Jr. Allegany, NY Anthony Pezzullo, Jr. of 3849 Old State Rd. died unexpectedly Sunday (February 10, 2013) at home while recovering from a recent heart attack. Born February 14, 1948 in Bristol, New Jersey he was the son of Anthony Pezzullo, Sr. and Madeline Bowker Katchmar. On July 3, 2008 he married Judith A. Spring who survives. Mr. Pezzullo was a veteran of the US Navy having served in the Vietnam War aboard the USS Canopis in Rota, Spain. He worked for Bethlehem Steel Corporation in Lackawanna and later was a locksmith for thirty years for AAA Safe & Lock Co. in Buffalo. He enjoyed NASCAR, Buffalo Bills football and fishing. Surviving besides his wife are one daughter Jaime Dyer of Lackawanna; one grandson Nathan Dyer; one brother David Katchmar of Lackawanna; two stepdaughters Michele Bliven of Hinsdale and Lisa Klever of Bath and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother John Katchmar. At. Mr. Pezzullo's request, there will be no visitation and no services are being scheduled at this time. Memorials may be made to the Allegany Fire Department. Online condolences may be expressed at oleanfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olean.
