Obituary of Mary Ellison

Mary Grace Ellison Olean, NY Mary Grace Ellison of 926 Griffin St. died unexpectedly Sunday (October 28, 2012) in Olean. Born April 20, 1920 in Olean she was the daughter of Vincent and Nellie Rogers Napolione. On October 12, 1946 at St. John's Church in Olean she married Elwyn R. Ellison who predeceased her January 5, 1994. Mrs. Ellison was employed briefly for the former Thatcher Glass and Neil's Restaurant, both in Olean. She was a member of St. Mary of the Angels Church. Surviving are four children David (Larry) Ellison of Austin, TX, Barbara (Tom) Bryant of Cuba and Michael (Mary) Ellison and Patricia (David) Rickicki, both of Olean; nine grandchildren Shane Ellison, Scott Ellison, Jason Ellison, David Ellison, Connie Heath, Amy Randolph, Kara Rickicki, Timothy Ellison and Jeffrey Ellison; fourteen great grandchildren; two brothers Dennis (Theresa) Napolione and James Napolione, both of Olean and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by two sisters Anna Marie Napolione and Carol Pavone and one brother John Napolione. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Thursday from 3-5 & 7-9pm. Funeral services will be held Friday (November 2, 2012) beginning with a prayer service at 9:30am in the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00am in St. Mary of the Angels Church. Rev. Gregory Dobson, pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
