Obituary of Edward Carpenter

Olean- Edward R. Carpenter, III of 1951 West Fall Road in Olean, passed away Wednesday (December 7, 2011) at the Bradford Manor .
Born July 6, 1943 in Hornell, he was the son of Edward R. and Marion Bickford Carpenter, II.
Ed worked at SubCon Industries in Salamanca and later in Olean. He enjoyed music, CD Collecting and was a huge fan of Elvis Presley.
Surviving are two sisters Joanne Padula of Cory Ill., Laura Brown of Delaware; two brothers Craig Carpenter of Delaware, Gary Carpenter of Delaware; several nieces and nephews; and his friends at the ReHabilitation Center.
There will be no services at this time. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Hope Cemetery in Hornell.
Memorials if desired may be made to the ReHabilitation Center 1439 Buffalo Road, Olean NY 14760.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home, Olean.
