Obituary of Donald R. Wolf

Donald R. "Dick" Wolf Olean, NY-- Donald R. "Dick" Wolf of 304 Orchard Avenue died Tuesday (March 11, 2003) in the Bradford Manor in Bradford, Pa. Born June 24, 1929 in Allegany he was a son of Otto and Mary Grader Wolf. Mr. Wolf had resided in Allegany and Olean all of his life and was a retired truck driver for Olean Wholesale Co. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Allegany and also was a member of Olean Eagle’s Aerie #616 and the St. Stephen’s Club. Surviving are 1 daughter Linda (Theodore) Bratt of Monks Corners, S. Carolina; 2 sons Mark (Marie) Wolf of Allegany and David (Martha) Wolf of Eldred, Pa.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; 3 brothers Robert (Evelyn) Wolf, John Wolf and Ronald (Julie) Wolf, all of Allegany; 2 sisters Eileen (Leo) Turner and Dorothy Wolf, both of Allegany and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 2 sons Donald Michael Wolf and Steven Douglas Wolf; 1 sister Murble Heinrich in 2002 and 2 brothers Kenneth Wolf in 1993 and George Wolf in 1980. Friends will be received today from 2-4 & 7-9pm in the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State St. Olean. Funeral and committal services will be held Thursday (March 13, 2003) at 11:00am in the funeral home. Rev. Gerald leFeber, pastor of St. John’s Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in Allegany Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
