Glenna Booth "Beloved Wife and Mother" Allegany, NY Glenna Booth of 2549 Five Mile Rd. passed away unexpectedly Tuesday (March 15, 2011) in her home. Born November 29, 1932 in Eldred, PA she was the daughter of Clarence and Esther Barnet Collette. On November 16, 1957 in Eldred, PA she married Edward M. Booth, Jr. who survives. Mrs. Booth attended Duke Center Public School and was a graduate of Otto Township High School. She also attended Bryant and Stratton School of Business in Buffalo. She was a resident of Allegany most of her life and had been employed as a bookkeeper for twenty five years for the former Mayflower Moving Co. in Olean and later when it became the North American Moving Co. She formerly attended the Church of God in Eldred, PA and later attended the Allegany Baptist Church. She and her husband delivered Meals on Wheels for many years and she was a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star Electa Chapter #84. Surviving besides her husband are two daughters Rebecca (Stephen) Schnorr of Marshall, MI and Cindy (John) Moshier of Allegany; one granddaughter Madeline Schnorr; one sister Marilyn Anderson of Dunedin, FL and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Friday (March 18, 2011) from 9:30am until 11:00am. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am in the funeral home. Burial will be in Allegany Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
