Obituary of Charlie Cleveland

Olean-- Charles L. Cleveland of 767 Seneca Ave, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday (January 26, 2011) at the Olean General Hospital.
Born April 3, 1944 in Olean, he was the son of Winfield and Isabelle Peters Cleveland.
Charlie had been employed for over 30 years at SubCon Industries in Olean and was a long time member of the United Pentecostal Church. He enjoyed bowling, listening to music, going to the Linnwood Center, Dunkin Donuts and visiting his friends at Tom's West State News. He was an avid John Wayne fan and classic cars enthusiast.
Surviving are 2 cousins Dorothy Michienzi and Ed Foster both of Olean; numerous cousins; several nieces and nephews; and his many friends through the ReHabilitation Center.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by a step mom Lydia Clark, a half brother John Vaughn and sister Ida Mae Cleveland.
Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Road on Friday (January 28, 2011) from 5-7pm at which time funeral services will begin. Pastor Steve Beattie of the United Pentecostal church will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
Memorials if desired may be made to the ReHabilitation Center 1439 Buffalo Street or to the United Pentecostal Church, 1100 Homer Street, Olean NY 14760.
