Obituary of Cindy Gerhard

Shinglehouse-- Cindy L. Gerhard, of 1181 Bells Run Road, Shinglehouse and a former Olean resident, passed away unexpectedly at the Erie County Medical Center on Friday (October 8, 2010), after a brief illness.
Born June 16, 1956 in Olean, she was the daughter of Jack and Barbara Marvin Baldwin. On August 6, 1973, in Olean, she married John Gerhard, who survives.
Cindy was a devoted mother and houswife and loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are her 2 sons Todd (Melissa) Gerhard of Olean and Chad Gerhard of Shinglehouse; 3 grandchildren SR- Gerhard; Zachary, Todd Gerhard Jr., Steven Gerhard; 1 brother Kenneth (Rocky) Baldwin of Olean, 3 sisters Catherine (Larry) Smith of Cuba, Marcella (Ed) Smith of Olean, Pamela Hooper of Olean; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents.
Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Road on Tuesday from 4-7pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (October 13, 2010) at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. View Cemetery.
